Gabriela van Huisseling

Fellow of the International Academy of Family Lawyers IAFL

Having grown up with an international background, Gabriela van Huisseling is familiar with all issues concerning international families. She has lived and studied in England and the United States for four years and as a Fellow of the International Academy of Family Lawyers (IAFL) is able to soundly advise and represent international clients.

After graduating from the University of Zurich in 1994, practicing law in the canton of Zurich for several years and passing her bar exams, she obtained an LL.M. from the London School of Econo-mics (LSE) in 2001, focusing on, among other things, Alternative Dispute Resolution and mediation. Since 2003 she has been working in Zurich as an independent lawyer at one of Switzerland’s top 20 law firms in family and inheritance law. After completing the Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in Family Law at the Universities of Fribourg and Zurich, she obtained the title of Certified Specialist SBA in Family Law, trained further at the Konstanz School for Mediation and as an expert in Collaborative Law and Practice (CLP). She is a founding member and partner of AH4 AG Family Law Experts and lecturer at the University of Zurich in the course "Law Clinic – Practice for Attorneys".

Gabriela van Huisseling is divorced, has a teenage daughter and lives in cohabitation. She likes to spend her free time with her family and dog, especially in Mallorca.
