Gabriela van Huisseling

Gabriela van Huisseling has been working in family law for over 30 years. She is a founding partner of AH4 AG Family Law Experts in Zurich, a Fellow of the International Academy of Family Lawyers (IAFL), a Specialist Lawyer in Family Law certified by the Swiss Bar Association and a lecturer at the University of Zurich.

Having grown up with an international background herself, she is very familiar with the issues facing international families. In addition to her education in Switzerland, she lived and studied in England and the USA for four years. She has an extensive international network and is therefore able to provide sound advice in cases with cross-border implications.

Gabriela van Huisseling focuses on advising high net worth individuals in complex cases, often with international implications. She supports her clients in drafting marriage and inheritance contracts, separation and divorce agreements, and is committed to finding viable out-of-court solutions even in conflict situations, whether as an advisor to one or both parties, as a mediator for both parties, and as a collaborative lawyer in CLP proceedings. Her work is characterised by her high level of social competence, a deep understanding of different cultures and legal systems, an open mind in the search for creative solutions, tenacity and straightforward communication with all parties involved.

Gabriela van Huisseling is divorced, mother of an adult daughter and lives with her partner. She likes to spend her free time with family, friends and her dog, preferably in Mallorca.
