Michael Bucher
Over long years working at court and as a lawyer, Michael Bucher acquired sound knowledge in family, inheritance and procedural law. He is co-author of the guidebooks "Faire Scheidung» (fair divorce) and "Trennung" (separation) published by Beobachter. His strength lies in strategic long-term planning and determining all relevant aspects of even very complex cases. With broad vision, persistence and dedication he achieves the best outcome for his clients.
Michael Bucher acquired his law degree with magna cum laude at the University of Zurich in 2009. His posts at Hinwil District Court up to 2016 included that of legal clerk to the court, as well as Chairman of the arbitration panel for rental and leasing cases, where he chaired proceedings and negotiations since 2011. After his Zurich bar exam in 2014, Michael Bucher became a substitute judge and mainly led separation and divorce proceedings and was a member of the Hinwil District Court management. From 2016 to 2021, he worked as a lawyer in one of Switzerland’s leading law firms in the field of family law. During this time, he also trained as a Certified Mediator SAV as well as a Collaborative Lawyer clp Switzerland. He then obtained a Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in family law from the Universities of Fribourg and Zurich and the title Certified Specialist SBA Family Law. As a member of the board of clp Switzerland, he is responsible for the association’s finances. He joined AH4 AG Family Law Experts in 2021.
Michael Bucher is married an has a daughter. He spends his free time hiking, jogging and cycling. In addition, he is a passionate top-level chess player.
